My Struggles on New Normal Education during Pandemic

I'm going to discuss my work on the new normal education during the epidemic in this blog. I was eating breakfast in the early morning when I heard on the radio that the modular/online education would be announced. I wasn't too excited because I was already accustomed to doing ftf classes.

Many students struggled because they and I both needed to get used to the new normal of schooling. Everyone was frustrated when the pandemic first began, and I can understand them because I experienced the same thing. It was really challenging because we needed to adapt. I often only get 4 hours of sleep per night because I have so many responsibilities to complete. Because it's simpler for me to do the assignments if I have them in front of me physically—I tried the digital learning earlier, but it just gave me headaches—in Grades 8 and 9, I opted for modular learning (printed) rather than digital learning (online). I would occasionally just lose it in exasperation. A lot of people might say "it's just about time management," but that isn't always the case, and not all of us have the capacity to do that. I used to struggle to pass my paper works and projects because I put them off. I guess that's why I procrastinate so much because I wasn't used to the new normal education, but I'm glad that our teachers understand us and gave us a chance to pass it the other day. Why? Although there are many working students and students who are slow learners, this is because our lives are diverse. There were times when I felt like giving up and wanting to end my life because I was so exhausted from both schoolwork and personal issues, but I'm still here. What stopped me from doing that was realizing that I shouldn't put too much pressure on myself and instead should concentrate on myself. As a result, I found new hobbies, like crocheting, and reconnected with old ones, like painting and sketching, which helped me to improve my mental health. In addition, I joined fandoms, and as a result, I made some online friends.  I made an effort to put myself first, but it doesn't imply I neglected my academics.

I am aware that the pandemic significantly harmed our quality of life, but for me, it also had some positive effects, teaching me to value each minute and be more productive. Despite the challenges of modular/online learning, I draw the conclusion that if you are eager to learn and want to realize your goals, don't give up. Instead, give it your all, even when it's challenging, and have faith in the process.
