Past, Present, and Future: Our Tale of Success
Every year, schools and universities commemorate their individual foundation days to mark the anniversary of the school's founding or establishment. It is significant not only for the amount of years it has served the community in which a school is located. It is also significant, especially if the school's establishment has resulted in significant value to individuals it serves. It is usually the date on which the school initially opened its doors to the general public.
It was a sunny Saturday when our school Celebrated the 21st High School Day Celebration with the theme "Renewed Commitment in Defying Odds to Transcend Heights of Excellence and Solidarity. Firstly, 8:00 in the morning, Thanksgiving Mass was held, followed by doxology, pambansang awit, and, hyms, Then, the school principal delivered welcome address to start the prgram. The field demo started at 1:00 pm, and it was started with a prayer then followed by welcome address of the school's assistant principal. After that, the school's marching band played some songs, then selected students along with teachers performed 'Galaw Pilipinas', then a selected grade 9 students performed Festival Dances, and also selected grade 10 students performed hip hop. These activities are helpful especially to students because they can showcase their talents and passion for dancing.
Celebrating the school foundation day is significant since it is the chance to remind the students about the humble beginnings of their educational institution. This may help children realize the improvements they are currently experiencing, which have been worked hard for by previous generations of school officials, parents, and students. It is an excellent opportunity for older and graduating students to consider what type of legacy they may leave to the institution that has supported them over the years, as well as to the student body that will be left behind.
