A Portrait of Moments

I learned a lot of knowledge throughout this quarter, one particular aspect stood out to me and became my favorite is creating a sitemap. The freedom to design it according to my preferences allowed me to explore my creativity and showcase my vision. It was a nice experience to have the opportunity to design something that represents my personal style and preferences.

I still can’t believe that graduation is near and the fact that I will be a senior high school student next year feels surreal, I’ve ever imagined myself being this old. It's strange to think about how fast time has flown by, as I still vividly remember myself as a Grade 7 student. The pandemic has had a significant impact on our education, particularly with the absence of face-to-face classes during our 8th and 9th grades. However, I consider myself fortunate to have had at least one school year to experience the life of a teenage student and I was able to meet these wonderful human beings and got to bond with them even in a short period of time.

As the 4th quarter comes to a close, I can't help but reflect on the challenges and accomplishments that have shaped my academic journey. This period has been a rollercoaster ride, testing my patience and determination. However, rather than avoiding these challenges, I made a conscious decision to embrace them as opportunities for personal and academic growth.

As of now (June 14), I cannot definitively say "I did it" just yet. Because there are still summative and periodical tests to be taken, and I am hopeful that the results will reflect the effort I've put into my studies.

Overall, this quarter has been a valuable learning experience, both academically and personally. I have acquired new knowledge, and learned to navigate challenges. I’m not yet ready to be a senior high school student. Nonetheless, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to embrace the opportunities and growth that await me in the coming year.
